Welcome to a 5 hour workshop of play and fun. Starting with playing with the body, diving home into our senses, awakening our primal moves and our own inner child’s playfulness. Moving into a play of connection and potential surrender, with ropes as a tool to continue the play in meeting with others.

How can you let go of all the adulthood and shift into the perspective of play and fun? What may we find that comes alive within our bodies? Do you want to come play with us?

To truly understand the word play we must act it out. Our bodies are made to move, to explore, and to engage with the environment around us. When we act out our actions in play, we engage multiple facets of our being - our muscles, our minds, our emotions, and our spirits. This holistic engagement allows for a deeper understanding and appreciation of our capacities and limitations, as well as the world around us.

We use the rope as a tool, as an extension of our arms to hold you closer, to hold you with more depth.

As a continuation of the play, we will meet with others in a dance of togetherness in deep connection and experiment with surrendering into the space held by your play partner. How deeply do you desire to surrender, what happens to you when you trust in the arms that hold you? When we play together, we create a beautiful dance between people. It is an opportunity to surrender to what emerges in the moment in the connection that is created between two humans.

All of you is welcome here! All expressions and all emotions, from tenderness to play, relaxation, anger, grief and sensuality. This is a great opportunity to learn more about yourself, your vulnerability and the way you react to meeting different people. Every exercise is an invitation, and you are invited and reminded to feel into your boundaries throughout the event. The methods are simple with a focus on the connection with the person you are tying, not on technical knots made to show off. An experiment in play and surrender and a dance in connection! Welcome!

ABOUT THE SPACE HOLDER’s

My name is Linn, I am an earthy person driven by a passion for holistic health and sustainability - Individual, collective and planetary. For me, they are all connected! I'm a big fan of biohacking, touch and movement, and bring with me presence, playfulness, and care.

My name is Karen, I am passionate about pleasure! A Life artist and a spiritual seeker who creates safe spaces where the body and soul can communicate. I am fueled by the gifts of life and love creating experimental spaces for people to come together and holding space for visionary solutions to emerge. I believe in the power inside of every single one of us and I live to support people to embrace their light and let it shine into the world. I am dedicated to creating community, to bring people together as I know it to be the way we move forward and simultaneously create magic. I have been inspired by rope work for about 10 years and have felt deeply the connection it can bring, both to a partner and to the experience of life within my own being. I love surrendering into the hands and the rope of another as well as over and over again being mesmerised of the sensation of holding space for others to surrender into my arms and experience new sides of themselves.

ABUOUT THE SPACE Go to Torpgatan 21 and in through the big entrance, then through the first door on the left and up all the stairs to the top floor. Arrival time 12.45-13:00 Starting time 13:00 sharp NO ENTRY AFTER 13:00! Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in, bring a water bottle + your favourite snack to share in the break. Feel free to bring your own rope if you so desire, there will also be rope available to borrow and buy. Everyone is welcome regardless of previous experience, relationship status & gender. No rope experience is required. The event will be held in English unless the whole group speaks Swedish.
